Think you have what it takes to cook the perfect steak? Join competitors from across the region at the Taste and Tunes Steak Cook-Off, a sanctioned event through the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA).
The competition takes place Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm during Roanoke’s Taste and Tunes on Oak Street festival. Teams will fire up their grills and compete for steak and appetizer payouts, with the awards ceremony beginning at 5:00 pm.
While only certified judges sample the official competition steaks, event guests are encouraged to stroll through the cook-off area, meet the teams, and watch the competitors in action as they prepare their entries. It’s a great way to experience the excitement and craftsmanship behind competitive steak cooking.
